Red Bank United Methodist Preschool provides early childhood education and care for children, and will help them develop a range of skills that make them ready to learn when they start school.

Preschool programs are particularly successful in providing a child-friendly environment that is safe, secure, caring and stimulating. To enhance the development and education of children through play. To encourage children to develop self-confidence and self-esteem and to feel valued as an individual. We are devoted and prepared to provide the utmost love and care to all those in our community.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Our curriculum is child-centered. Each of our classrooms uses an age-appropriate and theme-based curriculum. Our curriculum consists of quality literature, structured play time, and various learning centers.  We work to build upon pre-reading and pre-math skills, handwriting, comprehension, problem-solving, art, creative play, social skills, fine motor, and gross motor skills.

Several cognitive and socio-emotional benefits are associated with participation in preschool programs. Not only do they tend to increase children’s intellectual abilities, positive social behaviors, school commitment, and their likelihood of graduating from high school, but they also lower children’s likelihood of repeating a grade and of engaging in antisocial behaviors during their adolescence.
